Creative Play

I don’t know how many teenagers I’ve said that too in my career but isn’t it true?. You don’t have to be able to draw or paint to be able to express yourself. There are always outlets to be creative whether it be music, art, writing, dance or any other form of expression, we just need the time to tap into them and get lost in them.

How wonderful is it that we can work through stresses and thoughts by putting paint to a canvas or pen to paper?. Even the children in nurseries are free to express themselves through creative play as part of their Early Years Foundation Learning.

Maybe that’s the solution, maybe we should all do a bit of creative playing! I know I’m up for it!
